For the sandwich are going to need a few things. Obviously you're going to need a good steak. The steak you choose is really up to you, but make sure it is lean enough that you can eat it in the sandwich. You're also going to need some cheddar cheese, some onions, some mushrooms, a nice bun, and some cooking oil.

The first thing you want to do is cook up the mushrooms and the onions. Put them in a frying pan with oil on the stove and fry them until they are soft and nice. This should be pretty easy to do and should only take a few minutes.

Now cut the fresh deli bun in half. You want to place the cheddar cheese on one half of the deli bun, and then place the mushrooms and onions on top of it. That is the first step to making the great sandwich. Now all you really have to do is put the steak on. You can cut up the steak into small pieces if you want, but some people just use it as one-piece.

Once all this is done, you can put the whole sandwich in the microwave for about 45 seconds. This will soften up the bun and melt the cheese. That is all you really need to make a great steak sandwich. Even though the summer is over, get out that barbecue and make gourmet sandwiches, you will be glad you did.
